If A Traditional Estate Sale Is A Problem...
Some communities and HOAs have restrictions on entry that make traditional onsite estate sales impossible. In these cases, we offer our second option, the Online/Onsite Estate Sale Auction. Online Estate Sales can also be an option if time is too limited for a traditional estate sale.
As always, the process begins with our free walk-through and/or picture evaluation of your sale items. Once this is complete, we will stage your sale, photographing all items and creating an online catalog that we advertise nationwide. When the sale catalog is posted online, customers can view your sale items and pre-bid for them. The day before the auction, we will staff your home or facility so that local buyers can preview sale items onsite. Our online auctions are well-advertised, so you can expect excellent exposure for your sale!
Within three weeks the online auction begins, taking place in our warehouse, not your home. Depending on the number of sale items, we'll either conduct a live auction with auctioneers or a timed auction. Typically the sale will continue on that day until all saleable items are gone. Items that have pre-bids will start at the highest pre-bid offer.
The day after the auction, we will staff your home again, so that winning bidders may bring receipts and ID for pickup. When sales have been verified, our trained crew will hand off locally-purchased items at the door. Larger items may be dismantled by our crew and brought out to buyers' cars or trucks. (No one is allowed to enter your premises after the sale.) All items to be shipped will be taken back to our facility, where we will package them carefully and send them out to buyers.
As with our traditional estate sales, we offer the option of a complete clean-out and broom-clean premises for an additional fee. You may elect to simply include this service, or you may request an estimate.
